    • Look for viable prospects.
    • Determine the best business opportunities.

    • Does the lead match your client profile and is it in your market?
    • Can you be of service to the client beyond your product?
    • Are you familiar with the market area?
    • Will the lead view your company as value added or as a commodity?
  • 4. Evaluating Lead Potential
    • Clearly stated “our budget is tight”.
    • Looking for the best deal and “we can do some of it ourselves”.
    • Stated budget is misaligned with the type of event and event details.
