  • The first survey was conducted in early 2004. The survey was sent to the Top 200 airport operators. The response rate was again up on the previous year - 79 replies – our largest ever.

Background <ul><li>The first Airport IT Trends Survey was launched in 2004 </li></ul><ul><li>Airline Business and SITA have collaborated for over 7 years on the Airline IT Trends Survey which serves as the industry benchmark </li></ul><ul><li>Cross-referencing the two surveys provides a detailed insight into the current shape of IT in a challenging air transport environment </li></ul><ul><li>The survey aims to set out key industry benchmarks in the areas of: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Management/strategic issues </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Outsourcing </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Technology trends </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Security and Related Trends </li></ul></ul>
