eSocial is part of the etouches’ Pro line and provides attendees with a centralized website in which to connect with other attendees before, during and after the event. The eSocial site allows attendees to see who else is coming, schedule appointments and message one another. Event planners can use eSocial for hosted buyer programs and matchmaking, while event marketers can offer the site as a sponsorship opportunity and include banner ads and other sponsor-specific branding elements.
eSocial can be used to support any networking program and can allow attendees to opt into pre-designed networking activities, as well as allow attendees to create their own.

    • Use Case: Attendee• See who’s coming• Set up meetings and small group outings before the event starts• Look at one place for total schedule• Use eSocial for one place to request/accept program-based (organization-driven) and personally-based invites
    • Use Case: Administrator• Facilitate professional and personal meetings between various attendee groups that participate in the event• Allow attendees to easily connect before/during/after the show without giving away directory list• One centralized place for “people interaction”• New opportunities for revenue
    • What Does eSocial Do?4 Main Pieces that Make eSocial Special:• Drag-n-Drop Interface• Directories• Personal Schedule• Message Center
    • Drag-n-Drop Interface• Move towards standardization of eHome UI across product line• Allows you to add pages and modify page layouts (right/left columns, header/footer)• Reorder and edit pages• Pull in dynamic content from eSocial (e.g. Messages) and static HTML content• More opportunities to customize/personalize site and sell off sponsor space, etc!
    • Directories• Default Attendee Directory: - Decide which fields to show - Decide how to filter & set visibility• New! Create-your-own Directory using filters and setting visibility based on attendee categories
    • Personal Schedule• Updated schedule interface will display: - Personal selections made in eReg - Meetings requested or accepted - Blocked/reserved times
    • Message Center• Following selecting person/people within directory, can request meeting• Email templates are used to send invites and invitee may accept/deny/tentatively accept with comments• eSocial offers one place to pick up messages and respond• New!
