Obama’s election night speech had special meaning to people with disabilities--including even people I’ve talked to in other countries--because it is very rare for any politician to not only mention us in such a major speech but to include us as simply part of the mainstream. I did a slide show on an email-writing campaign to thank Obama, and to remind him of the campaign promises he made to people with disabilities: http://www.slideshare.net/Andrea_Shettle/email-obama-presentation

I love anonymous comments! They are usually from liberal smart-asses.

In point of fact, having money, women, and fast cars does NOT make Josh ordinary. To have all those things is actually quite rare.

On the other hand, having a Big Idea of ENDING POVERTY does not make him Extraordinary. It’s an idea that was familiar worldwide well before it ever occurred to Josh. Perhaps he was too busy accumulating money, women, and fast cars to notice.

Josh might have a conception of this Big Idea which is Extraordinary in some way, but although we’re told that NOW is when 'the time is,' when 'the change is,' and when 'poverty ends,' the details and implementation are very conspicuously left for the future.

This apparently has to do with Josh being a Vision Caster. We’re left to guess that a Vision Caster is someone who combines commonplace ideas with polished presentations in order to acquire money, women, and fast cars.

You might watch your wallet more closely in the presence of a Vision Caster, then, lest your interest in Josh’s Big Idea suddenly become much more personal.

I have been doing with Josh wants to do - ending poverty now - for the last 10 years in a variety of 3td world countries. Most recently I have been doing so in India. Initially I was taken aback by the notion of rich, good looking, westerner talking about ending poverty. But as I watched the presentation a second and third time I realized that this presentation was about the BIG IDEA to end poverty. Once I realized that I was far comfortable with it. I visited the website at the end of the presentation and realized the author had run a relief organization himself. Once I had these other two facts I saw the presentation in context and loved it. I applaud your efforts. Visually it is stunning and now that I have resolved my concerns I can say the same about the content. If you do a sequel as many have suggested, I suggest taking Josh to India. We work out of Kolkata (fka Calcutta) in West Bengal. It is one of the poorest cities in the world. Josh could come here when he implements his BIG IDEA as there is much needed. In addition, if Josh could team up with the author, who according to his bio has a background, in MFI and try a few of their so-called 'Micro-Entrepreneurship' programs here I can suggest many people to particiapte. God bless you!
