2. RAVEN Line Source
MMX is a new type of ribbon, exclusive to
RAVEN, that has about 6 times the strength of
pure aluminum ribbons. MMX has a much
stronger centering force to reduce distortion,
increase power handling and improve
durability.
The Raven Line Source has a 250 Hz resonance
frequency thanks to a very large rear air
chamber that is 3 inch deep by 2.5 inch wide.
The rear chamber is lined with 12 mm thick
real wool felt and filled with 50 mm thick Black
Hole Stuff to completely absorb the rear wave
without reflections. The water fall decay and
impulse response are excellent!

4. VISATON TIW 250
25 cm (10") high-end woofer. The extra-wide
elastic surround, the long voice coil and
particularly large magnet arrangement give
this speaker extremely long excursion. Thanks
to the multiple venting of the voice coil (pole
piece hole, holes in the pole piece plate,
cutouts in the aluminum die cast basket to
vent the spider from behind) losses and flow
noise are minimized.
These design features result in high level-
accuracy and excellent low-range bass imaging.

5. Cabinet cut out hole is 2.875 inch
high by 4.0 inch wide.
The magnet is 4 inch deep and 4
inch wide.
The transformer is internal.
Good magnetic shielding - can be
within 12 inch of a television.
Recommended crossover is 3000
Hz, 24 dB Linkwitz-Riley.
6 ohm impedance, 91 dB
sensitivity at 2.83 volts.
In cabinet frequency response
with crossover network is +/- 1 dB
to over 40 kHz.
