  2. 2. <ul><li>Respect yourself, others, and property at all times. </li></ul><ul><li>Listen to instructions carefully the first time they are given. </li></ul><ul><li>Before you speak or leave your seat, raise your hand and wait to be recognized by the teacher for permission. </li></ul><ul><li>Come to class prepared with assignments, correct supplies, and be ready to learn. </li></ul>
  3. 3. <ul><li>Everyday you will copy the planner board into your agenda. </li></ul><ul><li>Begin bellwork assignment on a 3-hole punched piece of paper. </li></ul><ul><li>Wait for further instructions from the teacher. </li></ul>
  4. 4. <ul><li>Miss Simmons will do her best to have you ready to go when the bell rings. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>However, the bell does not dismiss you, Miss Simmons does. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Wait for teacher instruction to move onto the next class. </li></ul>

  14. 14. <ul><li>To supplement class discussion and to allow each student the opportunity to contribute “THE BAG” will be used. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Everyone’s name is placed in a bag. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>At random a student’s name is drawn. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Whoever is drawn is responsible for the answer. </li></ul></ul>
  15. 15. <ul><li>Clap once if you can hear me. </li></ul><ul><li>Ok, let’s wrap it up in 5-4-3-2-1. Stop what you are doing, eyes on teacher, class is quiet, and ready to listen. </li></ul><ul><li>“ Focus on the front, stop talking.” </li></ul>
  16. 16. <ul><li>Passes will only be provided during student work time. </li></ul><ul><li>Each student will have four passes to use during the nine weeks. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>First ask for permission. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Then fill out your planner. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Next mark date and time in record book. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Last take your pass and quickly return to class. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>REMEMBER: You will have only FOUR PASSES </li></ul>
