NAPEOS – Navigation Package for Earth Observation Satellites is the standard software tool of ESOC’s Navigation Support Office for support of ESA missions (e.g. Galileo, Sentinel ), 3rd party customers (e.g. EUMETSAT) and also the International GNSS Service (IGS) in the context of Precise Orbit Determination (POD) activities for satellites in Low Earth Orbits (LEO) and Medium Earth Orbits (MEO). NAPEOS, is a state of the art software system for GNSS data processing and much more. NAPEOS is developed and maintained by the Navigation Support Office (HSO-GN) at the European Space Operations Centre (ESOC) of the European Space Agency (ESA). The NAPEOS developments started around 1995. In 2003 implementation of the GNSS capabilities started, a project that finished in 2007. After significant testing the navigation support office at ESOC started to use the NAPEOS software in January 2008 for all its IGS activities. Within the IGS the products of ESOC are amongst the best. Details & registration via: http://dgn7.esoc.esa.int/featured/napeos-training-course-announcement/
