  • 4. 12) THE OWN WILL AND VISION OF THE CEO 1) THE REASONS WE GOT IN TELEWORK I COMPLETED MY INITIAL EDUCATION WITH A MBA AND ALSO A MASTER DEGREE OF PSYCHOSOCIOLOGY I’M FROM A LONG TIME CONVINCED THAT A LONG LASTING ECONOMIC PERFORMANCE RELIES ON THE RESPECT AND THE FULFILLMENT OF THE EMPLOYEES IN THIS LOGIC, WE IMPLEMENTED A NEW SOCIAL DIALOGUE, WE INTRODUCED AN OBSERVATORY OF WORKING CONDITIONS, A STRATEGIC PLANNING OF HUMAN RESOURCES AND WE TURNED TO INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL COACHING TELEWORK WAS THE LAST INNOVATION WE HAD’NT EXPERIMENTED
  • 5. 13) THE NECESSITY FOR AN ICT COMPANY TO STAY IN THE FRONTLINE OF PROGRESS 1) THE REASONS WE GOT IN TELEWORK TO ASSURE THE CONTINUANCE OF ITS ACTIVITIES, AN ICT COMPANY MUST ALWAYS INVENT & INNOVATE IN THE FIELD OF PROVIDING SOFTWARES AND ASSOCIATED SERVICES, THAT MEANS DOING THE BEST TO CREATE BUSINESS SOLUTIONS STANDARD-BASED WITH ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES AS FAR AS USING ICT IN SERVICES AT DISTANCE BECAME A NEW OPPORTUNY OF DIFFERENTIATION, SNEDA HAD TO SET AN EXAMPLE OF USING ICT WITH ITS OWN EMPLOYEES IMPLEMENTING TELEWORK THANKS TO NEW TEHCNOLOGIES WAS THE BEST WAY TO GO FORWARD AND STAY AHEAD OF OTHERS COMPETITORS
  • 6. 21) A FOOL ADHESION OF THE EMPLOYEES SYNDICATE & REPRESENTATIVE 2) THE WAY WE IMPLENTED TELEWORK CONDUCTING A NEGOTIATION FOR A TELEWORK AGREEMENT WAS AN UNEXPECTED OPPORTUNITY FOR THE DIFFERENT WORKERS’ DELEGATE EVEN THOUGH WE HAD CONCLUDED BEFORE MAJOR SOCIAL BREAKTHROUGHS, THEY IMAGINE THAT SNEDA WAS TOO SMALL TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR TELEWORK AT THE MOMENT I COMMITED MYSELF, THEY BECAME THE BEST AMBASSADORS OF TELEWORK INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE COMPANY WE SIGNED AN AGREEMENT IN DECEMBER 2006, WHICH IS CONSIDERED AS THE BEST ARRANGEMENT NEVER REACHED IN OUR HISTORY
  • 7. 22) A FIGHT AGAINST THE MANAGERS TO CHANGE CULTURE & ORGANIZATION 2) THE WAY WE IMPLEMENTED TELEWORK AMAZING BUT THE MANAGERS PUT UP A FIERCE RESISTANCE TO THE TELEWORK PROJECT THEY GAVE AS A PRETEXT THE DIFFICULTIES TO ORGANIZE DIFFERENTLY THE COMPANY WORKING AND WANTED TO BE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BOTHERING THE MAJORITY TO THE ADVANTAGE OF A MINORITY IN FACT, THEY WERE NOT READY TO TRUST MORE IN THE SALARIEES, TO OFFER THEM MORE RESPONSABILITIES AND TO IMAGINE NEW MEANS TO CONTROL THEIR ACTIVITIES TO FACE SUCH AN OPPOSITION, I DECIDED TO RAISE THE TELEWORK AS A STRATEGIC CORPORATE GOAL AND PERSUADED EACH STAFF MEMBER
