  3. 3. The signing of the UN charter in San Francisco<br />The UN was created after WWII because of damage, cost, and genocide. The slaying of 6 million<br />Jews by Hitler hearkened nations around the world that every human deserves human rights, <br />despite where they live- so the UN set up international laws for all people of all nations called <br />The Universal Declaration of Independence. <br />

The UN has often been questioned by its efficiency with dealing with human right violations, especially by countries like the United States that don’t have an extra week to vote on what to do<br />

The UN is helping out the people of Libya and the rebels by destroying any of Gadhaffi’s forces that come out of their holes. So far The UK, US, and France are involved. (source)<br />
