System design System design Presentation Transcript

    • System Design Saranya.V AP/CSE,Sri Vidya College of Engineering & Technology, Virudhunagar
    • • Systematic approach to creating a design.2 basic Principles used in design methodology: Problem Partitioning: Large System cannot handle as a whole. So dividing the system into smaller systems. Abstraction: overall behavior of the system.
    • Partitioning• When partitioning is used “ The design activity focuses on one part of the system at the time”• Also the one sub system can interact with other systems by clear understanding. For this purpose we need “Abstraction” concept.
    • The R-T System Design Process• Allocate system functions to concurrent processes.• Design algorithms for stimulus processing.• Design a scheduling system.
    • Ex: Microwave ovenThis is one of the Real Time System which involves great care in Design and Implementation.
