  4. 4. IT ALL STARTS WITH YOUR ATTITUDE!
  5. 5. Your success depends on 10% of what happens to you and 90% on how you react!
  6. 6. <ul><li>You cannot control what happens to you. </li></ul><ul><li>You have 100% control over how you choose to react. </li></ul><ul><li>Your attitude can make or break you in this business. </li></ul>
  7. 7. I THINK I CAN… Dump My Baggage!

Think for a moment… <ul><li>How old were you ten years ago? </li></ul><ul><li>How old will you be in ten years? </li></ul><ul><li>Did you hit or surpass your 2008 goals? </li></ul><ul><li>Are you on target for your business plan for 2009? </li></ul><ul><li>Do you have a business </li></ul><ul><li>plan? </li></ul>
  9. 9. THERE IS NO BETTER PROFESSION <ul><li>No ceiling on income. </li></ul><ul><li>You select your clients. </li></ul><ul><li>Daily change. </li></ul><ul><li>After hours – you just need a phone. </li></ul><ul><li>You determine your income. </li></ul>

  12. 12. REALIZE FAILURE IS NOT FATAL…
  13. 13. It’s important to understand why salespeople FAIL.
  14. 14. <ul><li>15% - Improper training in both product and sales skills. </li></ul><ul><li>20% - Poor verbal and written communication skills. </li></ul><ul><li>15% - Poor or problematic management. </li></ul><ul><li>50% - Attitude. </li></ul>
  15. 15. Most salespeople could succeed 50% more if they just change the way they think.
  16. 16. WE BECOME WHAT WE THINK ABOUT.
  17. 17. <ul><li>Ignore people who tell you, “You can’t.” </li></ul><ul><li>Ignore negative news and concentrate on something to enhance your career and life. </li></ul><ul><li>Don’t allow yourself the luxury of staying in a bad mood more than five minutes. </li></ul>

  19. 19. STARTING MONDAY MORNING
  20. 20. Take one hour per day that you currently waste watching news or reading bad news in the newspaper and convert it into positive action or learning.
  21. 21. By the end of one year, you will have captured more than 15 full 24-hour days.
  22. 22. Recruiting is a difficult career because we have people on both sides of our sale.
  23. 23. WHAT IS YOUR DREAM? <ul><li>Success </li></ul><ul><li>Wealth </li></ul><ul><li>Advancement </li></ul>What do you want to accomplish?
  24. 24. You will be successful if you’re doing it for your OWN reasons.
  25. 25. List Ten Things you would accomplish or purchase, if you achieve your goal.

  27. 27. Four attitudes that prevent peak performance:
  28. 28. <ul><li>Most people don't get what they want because they don’t know what they want. </li></ul><ul><li>Often people feel unworthy. </li></ul><ul><li>Most individuals are not good receivers. </li></ul><ul><li>Realize if you're not planning to succeed, you're planning to fail. </li></ul>
  29. 29. What attitude do you intend to work on in the next 21 days?
  30. 30. THE FUTURE BELONGS TO THE LEARNING. THE LEARNED WILL BE PREPARED FOR A WORLD THAT NO LONGER EXISTS!
  31. 31. Your success as a recruiter is also affected by your ability to change which is impacted by your attitude toward change.
  32. 32. LEARN TO EMBRACE CHANGE.
  33. 33. The only certainty you have in business is that things will continue to change.
  34. 34. CHANGE IS NOT A LUXURY, IT’S A NECESSITY.
