Ø  Developing core interview guides for all positions Ø  Eliminated Monster and Careerbuilder contracts – saving $100,000 in sources not working; cut $200,000 in print ads first year… Ø  Hiring a Sourcing Specialist for the first time

What can we learn fromHealthcare? …..really SHARING BEST PRACTICES v  Children s Hospitals share information in a listserv v  Healthcare HR Association and Healthcare Recruiting Associations v  Copy the Competition….The Jones effect v  Partner with Background check company to share terminations of employees v  Most wait for the right person and do without until they find them…some jobs stay open more than a year
