  21. 21. Get web hosting and have your WordPress.org blog/site up and running before you start to transfer anything.<br />Step 1<br />
  22. 22. Login to the old blog<br />Go to Tools -> Export<br />Download the XML (WXR) file to your computer.<br />Be sure to choose All Content option<br />Step 2<br />

Login to the new blog<br />Go to Tools -> Import<br />Choose WordPress Importer<br />Install plugin if needed<br />Click choose file button and select the XML you downloaded to your computer in Step 2<br />Click Upload and Import<br />Choose the Download & import file attachments options to move media files<br />Videos updated to WordPress.com will not be moved by this process.<br />Step 3<br />
