Drilling rig builder Sembcorp Marine Ltd said on Monday
its second-quarter net profit rose 5.4 per cent from a
year earlier to S$131.6 million (US$105.57 million),
helped by stronger performance from its rig building and
fixed platform businesses. Sembcorp Marine, in which
Singapore's state investor Temasek Holdings holds more
than 60 per cent, said its revenue for the quarter ended
June 30 rose 19 per cent to S$1.34 billion.
