Number 1: Corn maze! The corn maze is a great way to get out into the fresh fall air. It’s the perfect way to spend some time walking with the family or have a friendly competition with a group of friends. Either way the corn maze is a fun activity and a good way to get some exercise. Just don’t forget to bring a flashlight for when it becomes dark outside.
Number 2: Pumpkin Patch! The traditional pumpkin patch is great choice for a fall activity. Not only is going to the pumpkin patch a great time, but so is actually choosing the pumpkins. And then the best part is the pumpkin carving that takes place after. It’s a fantastic way to spend some quality time with family and friends and also it helps to decorate the house for Halloween.
Number 3: Jumping into a pile of Leaves! Who doesn’t have a fun when jumping into a pile of leaves? After raking a big pile of leaves the temptation to jump into the pile is over-whelming. So why not give in? It’s one of the those things that will really put you into the mood of fall! And the fun is endless! You can do it over and over again.
Number 4: Going for a Stroll! It’s the perfect weather to get on your gloves and go for a little walk! The scenery is always beautiful because of all the trees and the sound of stepping on crunchy leaves is the real music of fall. There are so many options of where you can go as well such as a local park or through a forest.
Number 5: Going to Starbucks! Starbucks is an awesome place to go with a friend to just sit down and talk. They, of course, always have warm, tasty drinks and a variety of delicious baked goods. They also have yummy drinks like the “Pumpkin spice latte” which really brings the flavours of fall to your tasted buds.
Number 6: Halloween Decorating! One of the biggest parts of the season of fall is Halloween! At least for children it is the biggest part. However, it can be just as fun for everyone else as well. Decorating your house or front porch can be an fun way to get into the Halloween spirit.
Number 7: The Reifel Bird Sanctuary! The Reifel bird sanctuary is fantastic place to go to through out all four seasons. In fall this sanctuary is especially beautiful with all the different kinds of birds, such as the Snow Geese, and the colours of fall that are in the leaves all around the gorgeous sanctuary. It’s a very relaxing and peaceful area that helps people become closer to nature.
Number 8: Taking Pictures! Fall is a time of change. It’s the one of the best times in the year to take some pictures of the beauty in nature that is all around us! Take a camera and go out and enjoy the magnificent colours of fall. You might be surprised by some of the shots that you’ll get of autumn.
