  • 2. Distinguish between executable lines of code and comments
  • 3. Why do we measure software?</li></ul>Experiment<br /><ul><li>Locate the program that has to be measured
  • 4. Format the program properly, as per syntax
  • 5. Read the file line by line
  • 6. If the starting character is a comment such as ‘ or // or an empty line, then move to the next line
  • 7. Increment the counter if the line is not commented.
