    • Welcome to Mrs. Huff’s Spanish Auction House
    • Today on the auction block are several Spanish sentences
      • Some sentences are grammatically perfect
      • Some sentences are grammatically incorrect (you should not waste your money on a defective sentence)
    • Your goal: Buy correct sentences without breaking your budget
    • Each group present today has a budget of $5000
    • All proceeds from today’s auction will go to benefit the Spanish Teacher’s Mental Health Fund
  • Auction House Rules
    • There is a certain sophistication and decorum associated with auctions. Therefore, any group being disruptive to the process by talking or being unsportsmanlike will be fined $50 to be assessed immediately.
    • All groups today will have homework following the auction, except for the group that has the best outcome
    • Best Outcome: Buy the most correct sentences and have the most money left over
