acquisition & analysis of neurologic data
emka TECHNOLOGIES provides smart solutions for acquisition
and analysis of neurologic and other physiologic data
central nervous system - low-noise eeg telemetry, eeg and sleep scoring software, neurobehavioral observations, and food intake monitoring, implantable telemetry, epilepsy detection
rodent EEG telemetry
wireless, low cost, head-mounted eeg for rats
rodentPACK is a wireless, head-mounted telemetry
system for rodents. It enables the acquisition of EEG
and other biopotential signals, as well as activity/
positional data - applications are varied, e.g. sleep
and epilepsy studies, ECG recording
rodentPACK transmits data via radiotelemetry,
offering a well-tolerated, humane alternative to
tethered EEG. Direct inputs from the device to
cortical and deep brain regions provide a high signal
to noise ratio, facilitating the detection of EEG events.
CNS analysis software
EEG analyzer module within ecgAUTO software
power spectrum analysis
The software allows the scientist to easily generate
fft power spectrums with user defined frequency
bands.
sleep scoring
Our high throughput, automated sleep scoring
module differentiates between four sleep stages and
calculates global sleep scores.
epilepsy seizure detection
The EEG analyzer module can also be used to detect
USB acquisition for ECG, EMG, & EEG
usbAMP is designed to acquire and amplify
biopotential signals (ECG, EMG, EEG, ...) and signals
from strain gauge transducers (force, pressure, ...)
epilepsy seizures from EEG traces
implantable telemetry fromTelemetry Research
Telemetry Research devices are suitable for the
measurement of blood pressure and a variety of
biopotential signals, including ECG, EMG, EEG and
SNA. They offer high frequency sampling up to
8000 Hz, amplification of biopotential signals as low
as 5 μV, transmission range of up to 5 m, and the
ability to co-house animals.
Patented inductive energy transfer allows the devices
to continuously recharge while in the animal,
eliminating transmitter battery refurbishment costs
and delays.
For more information please refer to our specific documentation
for implantable telemetry.
neurobehavioral observations
emka TECHNOLOGIES’ integrated video capabilities
facilitate behavioral observations without the
confounding effects of investigator interaction. Our
secured video data is embedded in our data files and
can be linked with other physiological signals,
allowing the scientist to click on a change in a
physiological parameter and observe the associated
behavior. The system features adjustable image
resolution, and infrared recording for nighttime
observations.
