  2. 2. Interview Help Format INTRODUCTION - The time in which the interviewer takes to relax and establish rapport with the candidate. INFORMATION GIVING - The interview. This is when the interviewer is seeking those behavior patterns, habits, practices, etc. that suggests the candidate will be successful in his/her organization. INFORMATION GETTING - The student’s interview. This is when the candidate seeks information about the career opportunity and the company he/she is interviewing for. CLOSING - This is when the discussion is wrapped up and next steps are explained to the candidate.

You’re not expected to be an expert, but the more you know the more interested you may seem to employers. </li></ul><ul><li>Determine exactly the types of skills, experiences </li></ul><ul><li>and accomplishments the interviewer will want to </li></ul><ul><li>see. </li></ul>
