  3. 3. Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show <ul><li>February 9, 1964 truly opened America’s doors to a wave of British American music talent </li></ul><ul><li>The arrival of the Beatles on the show was a huge success, and other bands were quick to follow suit </li></ul>
