They are portrayed using an alternative representation of new bands. New bands are generally viewed as either sounding similar to bands that are already out or something new and different. Also the fact that this band are teenagers gives a alternative representation, whereas the dominant ideology would be that teenage bands would go for the more mainstream rock/indie/pop style genres not vintage music like this one has. Teenagers

I feel my magazine is realistic and could be published along with other music magazines. More younger people are becoming interested in music of past generations so this kind of band and magazine could easily exist. Construction on reality
