Kappa Alpha Psi has really been a stand out organization due to the success of the first two years of the Sunday of Hope program. Many Kappa chapters also volunteered to answer phones at St. Jude Radiothons and Dream Home giveaways in your local areas.
The Kappa Alpha Psi Sunday of Hope ™ wall located outside of the sickle cell clinic in St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. You will notice the childlike drawing of the church and your International Headquarters visually representing the true partnership that has developed between Kappa and the church community. Thousands of St. Jude supporters will see this wall and recognize what Kappa is doing for St. Jude because the location is along the regular tour route.
We have an electronic copy of the Sunday of Hope proposal that can be emailed to each of you. We did not bring a hard copy of it because there are fields in the document that need to be filled in to make it more of a personal ask.
This is a list of the top 10 fundraising churches that were honored at the Celebration of Hope held in May. A point to note is that the top 10 fundraising churches were from around the country. This program worked in the Northeast, the West, up in Michigan, down in Florida and everywhere in between.
