Be strategic about your price match. Decide when and how to do your price match. Before? After? Online? By phone? Depends on the deal and the retailer.

Step 5: Rebates are your friend (or enemy)
1. Don't buy rebated items if you're not going to act on them quickly.
2. Put rebate dates, phone numbers, and websites into your calendar. Or use a tool like rebate-tracker.com .
3. Be tenancious (but realistic).
Deal Commandments
1. Do thy homework . Do not assume it's a great deal because it's posted on FW or SD.
2. Be quick if you believe it is a great deal . You can (almost) always cancel if you find a better price or change your mind.
3. Expect cancellations on price mistakes. Do not become indignant. Be nice to CSR's. CSR's are people too.
4. If you think your deal can be improved, post what you have and let the masses work on it (but beware of Commandment 5).
5. Share deals you find but realize that sharing is a deal killer.
6. Public Service Announcement: A great deal, in and of itself, is not a reason to buy.
