    5. Inter-Library Loans (ILL)
      • You may search for books in other Portuguese libraries online catalogs and request this type of loan.
      • Prices may change according to the fees requested by other libraries.

    7. LIBRARIES’ RULES
      • You may ask for loans at any library.
      • You may request reading rooms in any library.
      • Books from the Gambelas and Health Campuses may be returned at the Penha Campus’s libraries.
      • Working hours: Monday to Friday from 09:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
      • Overdue fees: 0,25 € for each day and per document.

    34. What is B-ON ?
      • b-on is the acronym for Biblioteca do Conhecimento Online (Online Knowledge Library), a virtual library born in Portugal on March 2004.
      • b-on includes some of the leading publishers of scientific publications and holders of international databases. b-on provides to the national scientific community a vast set of online articles, in fulltext, in the different areas of knowledge.  b-on provides access to more than 17 500 fulltext titles. Professors, researchers, students and others have access to the world’s scientific production through b–on.
    35. Who can accede?
      • institutional users : anyone that carries out any type of activity in one of  b-on’s member institutions by holding an employment contract (researchers, faculty, technical employees, etc.) or by conducting that activity on any other basis (students, scholarship holders, etc.);
      • walk-in-users : anyone that is not an institutional user but has access to b-on’s contents from a member’s premises
      • Access to the full text of the subscribed contents is permitted to institutional users and to walk-in-users.
