The Evolution Of Knowledge Management Km 1.0 Vs. Km 2.0Hi buurin! Thanks for the kind comments. Yes, it is amazing that slide deck was shared a bit over two years now and it is still as relevant as ever in settling the stage between what KM used to be and what KM is at the moment with the emergence of social computing. Funny enough, most of the stuff from this deck is still very much relevant to some of the key principles behind knowledge sharing from all along. So no wonder, perhaps as to why despite time gone by it’s still rather relevant ...7 months ago

IBM iForum - Rethinking Innovation Measurement by Dean SpitzerHi folks! Thanks for the kind feedback comments! Unfortunately, the original file of this deck is no longer available for download and although I am trying to get my hands on a copy again, it’s not been easy, I am afraid. Will keep trying and as soon as I have it I will re-upload it. Thanks again for dropping by and for the commenting! Appreciated!

Knowledge-Centered SupportWhat a fantastic slide deck, Kelly! This is as good as it gets when talking about re-using and building further up on content on top of each other’s content and helping contribute into working smater, and not necessarily harder! Well done! Thanks for sharing it with us!
PS. Loved the graphics! (And a expect a link to it soon from my blogs ;-) heh)2 years ago

Thinking Out Of The Inbox - More Collaboration Through Less E Mail - Next08Hi Peter! Thanks for dropping by and for sharing your feedback. Unfortunately, on that site not all of the videos are listed just yet. Just a few. The main homepage has got plenty more. Waiting for the one for this session to become available and then I will be sharing the link over here, too! Fingers crossed it will happen soon! Thanks for dropping by and for the info!2 years ago

IBM iForum - Rethinking Innovation Measurement by Dean SpitzerThanks, Matt, for dropping by and for the feedback comments! You surely bring in a very good point with those thoughts and I’ll be more than happy to go and pass them on to Dr. Dean Spitzer for him to rather comment on them or share a thought or two in here. I am sure I will have the chance to meet him up soon again, so will surely pass these thoughts along and perhaps in an updated presentation he would be able to comment further on it. Thanks again for the additional input! Greatly appreciated!2 years ago

IBM iForum - Rethinking Innovation Measurement by Dean SpitzerHi! Thanks for the feedback! It is actually not my presentation itself, but that one from Dean Spitzer. And so is the book. I am not sure whether it would be covered over there or not, but one thing for sure is that I am certainly going to get a copy of it. Far too provoking, refreshing and re-energising to let it pass just like that! May be able to blog about it at some point, too! Thanks again for dropping by!2 years ago

IBM iForum - Rethinking Innovation Measurement by Dean SpitzerHi Fernand0! Yes, unfortunately, I couldn’t made the file shareable as it was the original PPT file. I tried to upload the PDF, but that failed repeatedly, so in the end I went with the original one. Perhaps at some point I may be able to fix it and make the file downloadable again.

IBM iForum - Rethinking Innovation Measurement by Dean SpitzerHi brubant! I surely agree with you. This is one of the things I have been commenting on for a while, that traditional methods for measuring performance may not be working at best when trying to measure all of the innovation thriving through collaboration using social computing tools. Dean puts it quite nicely how the current measurements model is broken and already hints how we could get most of those addressed into coming up with better metrics. At least, more representative...

AliceStreet - 3D Video Conferencing: An OverviewThe offering itself is not freeware. There are some fees in place depending on the kind of license you would want to make use of. I would suggest going to http://alicestreet.com and check out all of the different options and see how you may be able to accommodate them to your own needs.3 years ago

8 Reasons You’ll Love Using IBM Lotus Notes 8Yes, Notes 8 supports all three of those different technologies. Since Notes 7.0.2 there is support for blogging on Domino based servers, with a blog template put together by Steve Castledine. At the same time Ben Poole has put together a DominoWiki service that can be used as well within Notes 8 and finally Notes 8 comes with an embeed RSS / Atom feed reader that you can access from the sidebar. And that even allows you to import your OPML file.
Hope that helps.3 years ago

The Vortex: Experiments in Online CollaborationHi Nancy ! What a great presentation ! Thanks for sharing it over here! I have just gone through it and have thoroughly enjoyed it ! I, too, think that we are witnessing a second wave of online collaboration and going through your slides has just proved the case. Even more when that second wave of online collaboration is also fostering a comeback of Knowledge Management with some fresh and new ideas as to what knowledge sharing could be all about. Exiting stuff!4 years ago
