  2. 2. Philippians 2:11 (NIV)11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
  3. 3. WORDSDeclaration, proclamation or proclaiming, confessingout aloud. Proclaim means ‘to shout forth’. Confess means ‘to say the same as’.A declaration is to shout forth or say the same thingwith our mouths as God has already said in His Word.
  4. 4. Romans 4:17 (NIV)“God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did.”
  5. 5. Romans 10:9-10 (NIV)9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him fromthe dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
  6. 6. 15 "But Lord," Gideon asked, "how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family."

In the face of spiritual attack Deuteronomy 33:25-27 (NIV)25 The bolts of your gates will be iron and bronze, and your strength will equal your days. 26 "There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides on theheavens to help you and on the clouds in his majesty.27 The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemy before you, saying, Destroy him!

Ezekiel 12:21-28 (NIV) 21 The word of the Lord came to me: 22 "Son of man, what isthis proverb you have in the land of Israel: The days go by and every vision comes to nothing? 23 Say to them, This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am going to put an end to thisproverb, and they will no longer quote it in Israel. Say to them, The days are near when every vision will be fulfilled. 24 For there will be no more false visions or flattering divinationsamong the people of Israel. 25 But I the Lord will speak what Iwill, and it shall be fulfilled without delay. For in your days, you rebellious house, I will fulfill whatever I say, declares the Sovereign Lord." 26 The word of the Lord came to me: 27"Son of man, the house of Israel is saying, The vision he sees isfor many years from now, and he prophesies about the distantfuture. 28 "Therefore say to them, This is what the Sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign Lord."
