In Cuba the access to the geographic data is restricted for national security reasons. So, why not collect our own data? Why not ask local citizens to enter their own contributions? We had heard of OSM, one good day we joined to, and here we are, sharing our first experiences. This is the story of the challenge to organize a Mapping Party in The Old Havana without any GPS device, using the local knowledge as much as it's possible.
