Conflict and Natural make-up, characters look good disequilibrium in but not made up, they are realistically each episode aspiration
  7. 7. Conventions of existing trailers. The close ups show clearly the characters emotions and their facial experiences. Use of various shots, ranging from close-ups to long shots of characters. 10. 10. Story lines portrayed. Several story lines are portrayed in my trailer. This is to follow the conventions of a soap opera trailer but also make the trailer more interesting and enigmaticA Drugs. A is a screen shot from Skins.A Teen pregnancy. A is a screen shot from Hollyoaks. Young brides. A is a screen shot from Hollyoaks. ‘CCTV’. A is a screen shot from Hollyoaks.
  11. 11. Editing in my trailerThe beginning of the trailer starts with the music at a slower paceand the scenes shown in mainly slow motion. This is to introducethe plot lines and the characters carefully. The main charactersMason is introduced with medium close up slow zoomed into a bigclose up. This is to make it clear to the characters that thischaracter is important, it also allows characters to clearly see hisfacial expressions and understand his stereotype. As the trailer continues the music gets faster in pace. This is to reflect the heightening storylines between the characters. The conflict between the 3 male characters is shown more and short cuts are used to show the build up to the violent fight scene. Big close ups of characters are used through out the trailer to portray the characters feelings by clearly showing their facial expressions.
  12. 12. Lighting/soundNatural lighting used throughout thetrailer to create a sense of realism.Shots filmed on location to continue therealism we wanted to portray.I used a non-diegetic soundtrack toheighten the shown feelings andemotions of the characters .The song is a passion pit remix whichthink works well in my trailer as the beatspeeds up as the characters clashinglives are shown more. It is also a dancesong that could be heard at a party andreflects the teenage lives of thecharacters.
