I wanted to talk to you about police officer career testing. This is probably the most difficult process of
getting hired with any police department. If you make it through this test, than you just have a simple
interview to go into. Passing the test gives you a huge positive to those that are giving the interview
because the vast majority of people will. The problem with the test is that it is much different than what
you’re used to. The questions you’ll have can be quite twisted. You may think that you’re just reading
about riddles because the questions are just weird. I’m going to talk to you about the police officer career
testing.
The main thing you have to take from this is that the police are going to grade you on things they don’t
tell you about. That’s why questions sound weird. A lot of them are stories with weird logic that twist and
turn. The answer to this type of question is easy. The real thing they’re testing you on is whether you
follow the story. What they’re really grading you on is your ability to be a detective. Can you look at the
story and piece it together into something coherent?
The police officer career testing is also going to measure you on your writing skills. A lot of people have
an incorrect view of what officers do. You’ll have to spend a lot of time writing reports that will be
viewed in a court of law. That means you have to have decent writing skills. You will be graded on things
like spelling and grammar.
