I wanted to do a little national police test prep with you to help you get ready for this test. What a lot of
people don’t understand is that most people will fail. That can seem alarming, but this is a recruitment
process for the police. They’re not looking to interview hundreds of people. They give the test to fail a lot

The first thing you need to know is that the questions are a bit outside the box, but they all relate to the
things you need to know as a police officer. A common question involves a mug shot and identifying the
person in other pictures. This is a lot harder than you’d think. When all the other people look the same
you’ll be wondering which one is correct. You just have to use that police skill and focus on the one part
of a face that can’t change and that is the eyes.
Another part of national police test prep is focusing on your spelling and brushing up on your grammar.
Your writing skills will be marked and they’re not going to tell you that. They want to make sure that you
can write because you have to do a lot of reports as an officer. Brush up on your writing skills, so that you
make a good impression.
