  4. 4. Basic Understanding: The Events of the Story Learn the following: What is the bet between Mr Kelada and Mr Ramsay about? What do we infer from the bet?
  5. 5. HOTS Questions Think about the following questions: What decision does Mr. Kelada make following the bet and what does this say about his personality? Why is it that the narrator dislikes Mr Kelada? What sort of a person would he have liked to share a cabin with
