  • 2. What are some of the problems with science instruction in the classroom?
  • 3. Decreasing levels of scientific inquiry
    Lack of professional development
    Diminishing number of science majors
  • 4. How do we fix these problems?
    With technology!
  • 5. Place more of an emphasis on solving problems with a scientific approach.
    Talk about technology often, and use it every chance you get.
    Students today are the technology generation. Get on their level!
  • 6. What are the advantages to using technology in science education?
  • 7. Grasp the attention of the students
    Provide visual simulations
    Promote cooperation among classmates
  • 8. What about students with special needs?
  • 9. Have them work in groups with other students
    Provide alternative assessments
    Make them feel included!
