2. K-POP
K-Pop (abreviación de Korean popular music,
en inglés o música popular coreana en español), es un
género musical que incluye diversos estilos como la música
dance electrónica, hip hop, rap, rock, R&B, etc, y que se
refiere específicamente a la música popular de Corea del
Sur, debido a que Corea del Norte no posee una industria
de música popular con influencia occidental.
3. SÜPËR JüNÏöR
Debut November 6, 2005. Started out as, "Super Junior 05" soon
dropped the suffix and become, "Super Junior". 13 + 2 is what fans say.
Super Junior's most famous nicknames are SJ and SuJu. They call their
fans E.L.F standing for Ever Lasting Friends since they consider their
fans more like close friends. Their fan base is gigantically huge and
they are recognized as an icon for the hallyu wave.
4. The group originally debuted with 6 male and 4 female members: Soomi,
Kwanghaeng, Yoosung, Taewoon, Kangho, Chanmi, Noori, Hyoyoung, Hyewon, and
Sungmin. Their first single "Too Late" was released in late September 2010; followed
by "Bbiribbom Bberibbom" and later by their debut mini-album Something That is
Cheerful and Fresh. The female subunit, 5dolls, made their debut in 2011 and the
male subunit, Speed, in 2013.
The group has gone through many line-up changes since their debut; the current line-
up consists of 7 male and 6 female members. The group is rumored to have split
completely into the two subunits, with rumours that a brand new Coed School will
debut in the future with all new members.
5. Kim Jong-woon (Hangul: 김종운; Hanja: 金鐘雲) was born on 24 August
1984, mononymously credited by his stage name Yesung(Hangul: 예성; Hanja: 藝聲).
He is a South Korean singer, Musical Actor and radio DJ. He is best known as a
member of the K-pop boy band Super Junior and its subgroups Super Junior-
K.R.Y and Super Junior-H. He is one of the three main vocalists of Super Junior. His
stage name 'Yesung' is translated to "art- like voice" and is derived from the phrase
"예술가의 성대", meaning "vocal cords of an artist".
