For the best that money can get you there,you can visit the resorts on Khao Lak Beach, but foradventurers, you can try the beaches beyond that, such as theBang Sak and Pakweeb beaches.The Khao Lak centre called the Bang La On, is less than aquarter of an hour away from the resorts via taxi or shuttle.There are bars, shops, banks including ATMs, and otherfacilities in the centre for your needs. You can get to Khao Lak by taking a flight into Phuket or Krabi and then travel to Khao Lak from that point. Otherwise, you can hail a taxi and ride to there for about 1,600 baht. Take the time to appreciatethe Sino-Portuguese architecture and drop by the local shops.Of course, you just have to visit the Khao Lak Lam Ru NationalPark, which is where the place got its name.
