• 1. From thief to police A case of Mario By Elias Karam
 • 2.

One afternoon in the city there was one man named Mario who rid his motorbike in search for trouble. Jerome was a 17 year old who got kicked out of 3 high schools and later on during this year had his parents kick him out of the house. Mario was 6’2 and had muscular arms with a tattoo of a serpent on his left shoulder. At around 8 p.m. Jerome headed to a jewelry and did what he did every night. He stole………….

 • 3. Expect the unexpected

After Mario broke in something unexpected happen, he found a 3 police officers standing in front of him. “ Time to turn yourself in Mario” said officer 1. Mario began to run for the door, but was blocked by another officer who shot a sleeping dart at Mario. With that done Mario fell asleep.

 • 4. Where am I?

When Mario woke up he found himself in a white room with nothing more than two chairs and a table. An officer saw Jerome awake and called for Mr. Pillar.

 • 5. The question

Mr. Pillar entered the room and had his little talk with Mario. At the end of the conversation Mr. Pillar gave Mario two choices one to go jail for 3 years or join the police force because the police force could use a man of his talent.

 • 6. The answer

After the conversation Mario was taken to a cell. The next day Mario made his choice. To become a police.

 • 7. Time for training

Mario called Mr. Pillar to tell him about his decision. Mr. Pillar smiled at the response and told Mario that it was time for training.

 • 8. Virtual Training

Mario was taken to a room in which all he found were a pair of goggles lying on a small table. “ Wear these and you will be taken to a virtual simulation of police training which in many stages” said Mr. Pillar. Mr. Pillar started Mario off with level 1 training.

 • 9. The best

Within weeks Mario mastered the simulation and was then immediately recruited as head chief officer. Mario was in charge of all operations and was later recognized as the best police officer on the squadron.

 • 10. Ending

Mario later married and had two kids (boys) who grew up to also become police men like their father. All his criminal records were erased. Still at the end people could not believe that the best officer known on the squadron was once a most wanted criminal. What puzzled people the most is what caused Mario to become a police. I guess they’ll never find out, but one thing for sure is that any change that happens like that will be called the Mario case.
