  • 8. A 360 Degree learning experience, called MasterClass …that blends Classroom and Self-Learning with Performance Assessment
  • 9. The MasterClass solution • Our materials are linked to syllabus but is still outside of syllabus. – It is thoroughly conceptual. We have taken fundamental concepts linked to scientific topics and have produced them visually, digitally and by using real life scenarios • We test for conceptual understanding in each class. – Assessment becomes a learning culture. • We teach through the idealogy that process is greater than the right answer. – Every module produced by us is driven by a proprietary processes and techniques of learning.
  • 10. How are we different? ”conventional learning needs to be balanced with skill related learning.”
  • 11. What are the skills learned? 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Students are encouraged to construct ideas in his/her head, thereby allowing for sustained and creative retention. The Process-driven techniques fosters a life-long learning strategies. The focus is on learning outcomes, and not on rote learning, an attitude developed from constant assessment from classroom to hostel/home. The promotion of self-study and even group study using our online technology enabled platforms. Students are further encouraged and supported to become independent learners.
  • 12. What are our Measures They are tangible. And the Management, Faculty and our Program Teams work together to: 1. Monitor attendance – through our engaging visual presentations 2. Monitor classroom engagement – through the asking of more questions 3. Measure Student performance through better marks
  • 13. The National Agenda • I am in the midst of learned VC and Directors of scientific bodies. Let us join hands and go beyond hope! There is awareness and I say to you that there are also ideas. • There is an eco-system of private entrepreneurs…who too have the national agenda in mind. – to bring quality in academic excellence. – The agenda improves knowledge gain, raises skill levels and promotes economic development, through better qualified professionals. On behalf of all private bodies I too look forward to your support.
