    2. 2. Overview of the Initiatives NeGP aims to “make all Government services accessible to the common man in his locality, through common service delivery outlets and ensure efficiency, transparency & reliability of such services at affordable costs to realize the basic needs of the common man”. (1) To provide booking and delivery services of essential commercial goods like LPG cylinders and Fertilizers (along with other essential agricultural inputs like seeds, implement subsidies, agriculture loan, soil testing etc.) through the CSCs using ICT tools. (2) Using the selfsame ICT tools in a manner so that all stakeholders can be engaged and effective monitoring can be ensured by the district administration.
    3. 3. Projects Krishak Information System And Network Online Gas Monitoring System Both EASYGAS and KISAN have provided a useful model of improving governance and service delivery by creating entitlement rights for consumers using the CSC as an additional interface between the beneficiary/customer and the existing mechanism of delivery.
    4. 4. Flaws  Inaccurate assessment of field demand for the different Inputs.  Ample scope for discretion in allotment, falsification of records.  No Trickle down of vital information from Administration to Beneficiary.  There is no monitoring system on demand/distribution of agriculture inputs at farmers’ level for State/District Administration .  Near defunct Cooperative network, Hoarding and over pricing by Private dealers .
