LOCATION OF THE BRITISH ISLES The British Isles is a group of islands off the northwest coast of continental Europe. They are surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, the North Sea, the English Channel, the Celtic Sea, St. George’s Channel, and the Irish Sea.
