    • The Old Market Square will be transformed this year to celebrate the diverse cultural traditions of the city's communities.     The Global Market is back with stalls selling, clothing, arts and gifts and food from around the world to enjoy! There will also be FREE music performances from international artists with folk, traditional and fusion sounds from Europe, Africa and Asia.

    • BREAKING BORDERS: Live Music and Arts Night - Friday 9th July
    • Refugee Week may be over but a new event is coming up...

    • FRIDAY JULY 9TH, 8pm - 12am
    • The Polish Centre  2, Pelham Avenue, off Sherwood Rise
    • Including eclectic music and poetry from many parts of the world.
    • Visual artists will have works on display and some live demonstrations! 
    • Tickets: £2/£3/£5 ( unwaged / low-waged / waged )  
    • Money raised after expenses will go to Nottingham Refugee Forum Destitution Group

    • Summer filming!
    • TAMFiLM is currently casting and crewing for two short films (The Phone Booth and Madness), commissioned by Psychology Department, University of Nottingham and City Arts. The films explore mental health issues and the role of literature in madness. 
    • Crewing for the following (experience required): 1. Sound Assistant on location 2. Editor 3. Grading specialist 
    • NOTE: •.Filming in second week of July and first week of August in Nottingham. • Travel expenses will be covered only

    • Studio Bookings
    • Please remember studio bookings must be made 48 hrs in advance either through your tutor (for FE students) or through FileMaker (for HE students). If the studio is not booked by this time, you will be denied access.
    • Procedures regarding the advance booking of computer suites must also always be followed. Doors shut promptly at 6:00pm and you will not be allowed access after this time without prior confirmation.
    • These procedures must be followed.

    • Designated smoking areas
    • If you haven’t quit smoking yet, please remember that the courtyard is the only designated smoking area in Confetti and it is illegal to smoke under the awning near the bike rack.
    • Please also remember that the front of Confetti is not a seating area and that this is an area of work.

    • In addition to the usual catch up sessions on Mondays 1800-1900 in S215, from now on Lawrence Stewart is also available every Thursday 1400-1500.
