  • The Last Mughal Emperor, Bahadur Shah, known as Mahomed Suraj-oo-Deen Shah Gazee, Titular King of Delhi, Born 1773 and proclaimed rebel King of Delhi May 11th, 1857; Dethroned and captured Sept. 20th 1857. Kashmiri Paisley Shawl. During the time of the royal courts of Europe women were showered with love tokens in the form of Kashmiri Paisley shawls. These shawls came from far away places rich in history, culture and artistic superiority and were highly coveted.
