Welcome to my
Erin L. Delaney
I love variety, challenges, team work, and telling stories.
And I’ve got quite the eclectic writing background to prove it- as Walt Whitman
writes, "I am large, I contain multitudes."
For the last four years, I’ve balanced being a freelance writer with being an adjunct
college instructor. I’ve prepped composition and literature curriculum writing and
teaching, while writing poetry or blogging as well as editing others business copy,
books, and resumes.
I especially have enjoyed interviewing others, creating human interest pieces and
features, as well as creating debates and arguments in my classrooms on current
events and pop culture related topics.
Read on to take a look at some of my work.

One of my favorite aspects of writing is interviewing. I’ve interviewed authors, plastic
surgeons, spa and salon owners, nude art models, mattress store owners, dance instructors,
motivational speakers, musicians, and actors to produce business profiles, copy, human
interest pieces, and articles for business websites, weeklies such as: The Weekender and
Philadelphia City Paper, and national publications such as: The Woman's Newspaper.

“I worked briefly with Erin at Sakari Salon. She
helped me with a web project, writing web
content for the site. Erin's work on Sakari's bios
was creative. She helped edit and reflect each
person's unique qualities. I would definitely
work with her again.”
