Since 1989, NACCO Materials Handling Group (NMHG) has provided the strategic leadership and global support behind Hyster® and Yale® lift trucks, two of the most successful lift truck brands in the industry.

With the goal to create modern, international sites that focused on brand and messaging consistency, NMHG commissioned Ektron Elite implementation partner Realise Digital to design and build its global suite of Hyster and Yale sites on the Ektron platform.

Reasons Behind the Selection of the Ektron CMS

Integration with Google Analytics and the platform’s ability to target content to visitors. Features allow NMHG to try out different marketing campaigns and determine which has more resonance with specific audiences.

Ektron’s .NET-based open API allows developers to easily customize and extend the Ektron platform.

As well as making page creation simple, Ektron Smart Forms help Hyster and Yale site managers maintain consistency and branding across every page. PageBuilder templates were also created for marketing and landing pages, affording site managers flexibility within the existing design framework.

Another showcase feature of both the Hyster and Yale sites are regional and multilingual capabilities, the sites having the capability to switch content and language dependent on the visitor’s selection.
