Responsible forestry practices• HP has joined the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) and will be able to provide input and help shape FSC® policies and standards for responsible forestry, along with leading environmental and social NGOs• HP is among the first major consumer photo paper providers to offer FSC®-certified photo paper in Europe and North America• HP‟s Environmentally Preferable Paper Policy is one of the most rigorous in the industry, outlining principles for buying, selling, and using paper and product packaging

Pioneering take-back and recycling• IPG is a pioneer in providing sustainable solutions for the end-of-life phase of printing products• HP Planet Partners program simplifies recycling • 100 million pounds of recycled plastic were reused in printing products between 2007 and 2011 • 389 million Original HP LaserJet and inkjet cartridges were returned via the HP Planet Partners program since 1991• HP also recycles plastic in the production of select printers

Gaining momentum for a sustainable future Achievements and Goals Sustainable Printing • Printing products are 46% more energy efficient today than in 2005 • 3X the amount of recycled plastics used in HP inkjet printers since 2007 Responsible Forestry Practices • Produced more than 2 billion Original HP ink and HP LaserJet toner cartridges containing content from our „closed loop‟ recycling process Take-Back & Recycling Leadership • At least 50% of HP-branded paper will be FSC® certified and/or have more than 30% post- consumer content by the end of 2015, up from less than 3% in 2008
