A video that takes the audience through the the
conflict and resolution of a Student, who is
learning how to effectively use social media, as
he/she transitions from secondary, to post-
secondary education.
3. Storyboard
• Scene #1 – E-Mail
– Plot point: Acceptance email from post-secondary institution
(that also mentions their social media accounts).
• Scene #2 – Google Conflict
– Plot point: Student googling questions and not finding the
results.
• Scene #3 – Twitter
– Plot point: Frustrated student vents on platform, friends chime in
to communicate with relevant brands. Story unfolds.
4. Relevancy
• Using different forms of search to find a solution.
– In this case, a student starts to acquire the skills that
they need to close the ‘digital divide’ and become
more social media literate.
• Students in Toronto becoming more social media
literate to get the most out of their experiences.
– Becoming more social media literate and knowing
how to find the right solutions to problems
demonstrates effective communication.
