    1. Salvador Dalí His biography by Adrián Prieto and Brian Muñoz.
    2. Biography
      • Salvador Dalí was born in Figueres in 1904.
      • Salvador Dalí had a sister, Anna Maria. She was born in 1908.
      • He studied in the “escuela de bellas artes” in Madrid in 1920.
      • He received his first award in 1922.
      • And his friends were Luis Buñuel, Federico García Lorca, Pedro Garfias, Eugenio Montes and Pepín Bello.
      • Federico García Lorca has spent the 1925’s holiday with him in Cadaqués.
      • The first time that he went to París was in 1926 where he met Picasso.
      • In 1927 he had shown the first surrealist influences in his pictures.
      • Dalí met Gala in 1929 in Cadaqués.
      • He did two films with Buñuel: ‘ L’âge d’or ’ and ‘ La femme visible ’.
      • He worked with Alfred Hitchcock in 1945, a movie (Spellbound) director in Hollywood.
      • In 1934 he married Elena Ivanovna Diakonova (Gala) in París.
      • In 1964 Spain gave to him the “Gran Cruz de Isabel la Católica”, the maximum Spanish distintion.
      • In 1969 he bougth the “Púbol’s castle” and he decorated it for Gala.
      • He died on the 23 January of 1989 in the Galatea’s tower.
      • Some of the exhibitions that he did was in Kunsthaus (Zurich)
      • We think that he was a good person and a better artist.
      • We think his pictures were very good (not all) and he had a very big imagination to paint his pictures.
      Our opinion
      • Our favourite picture is the one called “relojes de queso fundido” (melt clock cheeses)
