  • 2. WHAT IS THE BIG CORAL REEF Coral reefs are underwater structures madefrom calcium carbonate secreted by corals. Coral reefs are colonies of small animals. Reefs grow best in warm, shallow, clear,sunny and agitated waters.
  • 3. CREATION The Big Coral Reef is made by 2,900individual reefs. They appeared one byone.
  • 4. LOCATION It is in the east of Australia.
  • 5. ECOLOGY Many species of turtles, whales, dolphins,fish ... Live in there.
  • 6. PROBLEMES The most significant threat to the Big CoralReef is the climate change and the masscoral bleaching occurred due totemperature rise.
  • 7. THREATS The threats of the Big Coral Reef are: -The Sharks. - Anemonas.
