  2. 5. What did we see? <ul><li>There is some form of behavior that is not clearly understood. </li></ul><ul><li>The behavior is observed and found to be special. Questions are raised regarding the reasons for the behavior. </li></ul><ul><li>Several possible explanations are sought and related to previous knowledge. </li></ul><ul><li>A possible explanation is considered, the hypothesis. The other explanations are rejected. </li></ul><ul><li>Test the hypothesis or answer the research question </li></ul>
