    • + Pros of iPads iPads are changing the way students learn in the classroom.
    • + More efficient than textbooks…  Thekids will not have to carry around pounds and pounds of textbooks.  Instead, they could put them all on the iPad because Apple teamed up with many book companies such as Mcgraw Hill and Pearson.  Textbooksout-date very quickly when iPads can update in just minutes.
    • + More efficient than textbooks... The iPad inspires creativity and hands- on learning with features you will not find in any other educational tool. Ithas powerful built-in apps and apps from the App Store that help students engage with content in interactive ways.
    • + More efficient than textbooks… Students are able to find information instantly, and access an entire library wherever they go. With the introduction of Multi-touch textbooks, iPad takes learning to a whole new level.
    • + Case Study  Thefollowing study shows how iPads are helping the students in the classroom.  At Euclid High School they conducted an experiment and split the class into 2 groups where one group had iPads and the other did not.  Thestudents without the iPads did poorly on assignments compared to the students that received an iPad.
    • + Case Study  Students with the iPads:  Connected more with teachers because they played fun games for vocabulary.  Scored better on literacy tests.  Wrote lengthier papers because it was more interesting than hand writing the paper.
    • + Pros.. Overall, the iPad increased the students motivation to learn and should be available in all classrooms.
