OpenAthens What it is: OpenAthens is a framework of services comprising: identity management, ‘gateway’ functionality and flexible service provider solutions. It allows an institution to be a full member of the UK Access Management federation without the need for complex technical implementations. Not only is OpenAthens the simplest way to participate in the UK federation, it also represents excellent value when compared to the cost of implementing Shibboleth yourself, lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit.
