  • I started to make a few slides about why the current textbooks have this effect on students but I think we all know. They’re produced by large committees to be adopted by large committees and designed to have as little conflict or timely material as possible so they can last the 6-10 years they’re likely to be in service. It’s not so much that they’re dated as soon as they’re published but rather they contain so little that might become dated that they’re
